Taxi Booking App is a transportation app designed to help users reach their destinations more quickly by utilizing various modes of transport, and find the best taxis available nearby.
The client’s business goal was to create a new safe and reliable taxi service; taxi Booking App will help users instantly book a ride — within a few taps and swipes on their mobile phones and with the opportunity to instantly make payments via the app itself.
Offer a user-friendly platform for easy browsing, selection, and purchase of products, ensuring convenient shopping and broad customer accessibility.
Affinity Mapping
The affinity map was done to help me organize data into clusters based on relationships, using sticky notes to group related insights or observations. It helps me visualize patterns, prioritize actions, and foster collaborative decision-making for the taxi app.
The insight of this affinity map is to organize key app features and user interactions into specific categories such as booking, safety, payment, driver experience, user feedback, promotions, and technology. Each category is represented with specific functionalities and tools aimed at enhancing user experience, safety, efficiency, and engagement within the app interface.
Competive Analysis
I has conducted competitive analysis to understand market trends and user expectations.
Conclusion
Our competitive analysis revealed that users preferred Uber’s real-time ride tracking feature, which we decided to incorporate.
Design Rationale
